Are you a college or university interested in spreading the word about your art or design program? Then you are invited to participate in our annual Portfolio Day event for 2022! Rockford Art Museum provides an open house style Portfolio Day every year, which is the only of its kind in our region. The goal of Portfolio Day is to provide regional high school and undergraduate students a unique opportunity to meet with college and university representatives to gather information about application and enrollment processes for their art programs. Our Portfolio Day this year will take place on Tuesday, November 15th from 10am to 1:30pm in the museum galleries. We are also offering a limited number of timeslots for schools and artists to offer presentations, workshops, or demos.

Portfolio Day takes place on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022 from 10am to 1:30pm. 

 

Schools can come in to set up as early as 9:00am.

Set-up begins at 9am the day of the event. Representatives from schools and organizations are located throughout Rockford Art Museum. The museum provides one standard 8-foot table, two chairs and light refreshments. Schools and organizations provide any promotional materials and freestanding displays they may need.

Registration can be completed by submitting the form on this webpage, followed by submitting the $50 registration fee. This fee is non-refundable and guarantees your spot at our event. To give us plenty of time to advertise your organization’s presence at our event, registrations must be submitted by Monday, September 26th, 2022.
