The fair also featured an Emerging Artist Booth, sponsored by Better Business Bureau, with four artists invited to exhibit by Kortman Gallery, and its own Emerging Artist award ($200), also sponsored by Kortman Gallery. Alison Weust was named this year’s winner.

ABOUT THIS YEAR’S FAIR 
Greenwich Village Art Fair runs through 5 p.m. Sunday. The annual two-day event features 136 artists, live music, a gourmet marketplace, children’s art activities and more. Held rain or shine on the grounds of Rockford Art Museum at Riverfront Museum Park on the second weekend after Labor Day every year, Greenwich Village Art Fair is the longest-running art fair of its kind in the Midwest. Tickets at the gate are $5 for adults, free for children 12 and younger – and include free admission to RAM during the fair. Proceeds support Rockford Art Museum throughout the year.
