Homecoming: In Color

Homecoming: In Color

OPENS NOVEMBER 14TH

Exhibition and free admission sponsored by Dean Alan Olson Foundation

Homecoming: In Color celebrates the reopening of Rockford Art Museum after a year-long renovation closure. This exhibition features a selection of popular pieces and hidden gems, showcasing the rich diversity of our revered collection. Come witness the power of art and community as we welcome you back to a vibrant space of creativity!

We can’t wait to reconnect with you to celebrate our galleries being open again. In addition to the exhibition, you’ll get the opportunity to engage with interactive art activities, artist talks, and guided tours designed to deepen your appreciation and understanding of the collection. Whether you’re a longtime patron or visiting for the first time, this is an opportunity to reconnect with the art that inspires and moves us.

Join us in celebrating creativity, community, and the enduring power of art. We look forward to welcoming you back!

Homecoming is organized by Rockford Art Museum Chief Curator, Carrie Johnson. The exhibition is sponsored by Dean Alan Olson Foundation and partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
