Drunk with Lampost

Brian Kerkvliet has been working with glass since 1977 and has taught workshops in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and the United States. He has been a teaching assistant and a scholarship recipient at the Pilchuck Glass School. He now operates Gossamer Glass Studios at Inspiration Farms, a hot glass and lampworking studio in Bellingham, WA, where he focuses on lampworking and on furnace-blown pieces with lampworked imagery. His work was recently included in the National Geographic Society’s exhibition A Touch of Glass, and it can be found in many public and private collections.
