April Witch

Mina Conant Billmyer was born in Colorado on November 3, 1910. She attended East High School in Denver and, even then, was commissioned for various art projects. In 1933 she married John Billmyer and the couple moverd to Cleveland, Ohio.  She produced the March 1935, plate 34 of the Print-a-Month series, issued by the Cleveland Printmaker’s Club, 1932-1936. Returning to Denver in 1947 she continued to work as an artist and also taught at Denver University Denver Art Museum, and in the Denver Public Schools.—The Annex Galleries, Santa Rosa
