The newest installment of the popular programming series “Coffee with the Curator” takes place 10–11 AM on Friday, November 15, at Rockford Art Museum (RAM), 711 N. Main St., Rockford. Get a behind-the-scenes look into the process of creating the museum’s new exhibition Bold Abstractions with RAM Executive Director/Curator Carrie Johnson. Free admission, and free coffee provided by Rockford Roasting Company.
Coffee with the Curator is part of the exhibition-related educational programming for Bold Abstractions: Paintings from the Thoma Collection. Support for this major exhibition and its related programming—including free daily admission to RAM every day, for everyone, throughout the exhibition—is provided by the Carl & Marilynn Thoma Art Foundation, and partially supported by a Partners in Excellence grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency. The exhibition is on view through January 26, 2020 at RAM.
