Rockford Art Museum (RAM) and Midland States Bank present the 71ST GREENWICH VILLAGE ART FAIR on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15, overlooking the scenic Rock River at the Riverfront Museum Park, located at 711 North Main Street in downtown Rockford, Illinois. Held rain or shine, the outdoor festival features 100 juried artists from throughout the country selling original paintings, drawings, sculpture, prints, jewelry and more, with kids activities, a marketplace, live music, food, craft beer and specialty drinks.

Rockford Art Museum (RAM) Curator Carrie Johnson is the first featured speaker of the New Genres Art Space (NGAS) Speaker Series, which kicks off Thursday, July 25, 6:30–7:30 PM. The newest installment of the popular programming series “Coffee with the Curator” takes place 10–11 AM on Friday, July 12, at Rockford Art Museum (RAM), 711 N. Main St., Rockford. Get a behind-the-scenes look into the process of creating the museum’s new exhibition Chance Encounter with RAM Curator Carrie Johnson. Rockford Art Museum (RAM) will be open 10 AM–5 PM on Thursday, July 4. The museum will return to regular Thursday hours next week (10 AM–7 PM). The current feature exhibition is Chance Encounter: Julie Heffernan and Shelly Mosman (on view June 8–September 29 at RAM). RAM is also a Blue Star Museum this summer, offering active-duty servicemembers and up to five family members free museum admission from Armed Forces Day (May 18) through Labor Day (September 2).  

About 300 people attended the sold-out Fashion in Bloom: Cocktails + Living Couture event on Thursday, June 27, to support Rockford Art Museum (RAM), located inside the Riverfront Museum Park at 711 North Main Street in downtown Rockford, Illinois. Fashion in Bloom is a major fundraiser for RAM that takes place at the conclusion of the museum’s three-day event Art in Bloom. Sponsors, partners and in-kind donors helped make the second annual Fashion in Bloom an overwhelming success. Proceeds help support Rockford Art Museum exhibitions and related educational programming throughout the year.
