J.R. Kortman Center for Design hosts Jingle Bling! holiday jewelry shopping party on First Friday, Dec. 7, to benefit Rockford Art Museum. Fifteen percent of proceeds from jewelry sales from 5:30 to 8 p.m. will be donated to RAM.
“Our jewelry fashion consultants (Anita Church, Lisa Jimenez, Jenny Mathews, and Elizabeth Horvath) will be on hand to show and model our exciting, elegant, and festive necklaces, bracelets and earrings that will be great for you to show off this holiday season,” said Doc Slafkosky, gallery director and co-owner. “And best of all, the Kortman Gallery Bar will be open during the event, with bartender Dennis Horton serving up some holiday cheer!” Currently on view in the gallery is Greetings from Rockford IL USA, a holiday group exhibition featuring postcard art created by 22 local artists.
J.R. Kortman Center for Design and Kortman Gallery are located at 107 North Main Street in downtown Rockford, Illinois. For more information about the event contact the shop and gallery at (815) 968-0123 or go to jrkortman.com.
