CARTOON CLUB! AGES 6+
Join us for some Saturday afternoon cartoons in Rockford Art Museum's new Cartoon Club! We will learn how to draw animals, people, and everything else kids love to draw! Each session will feature step-by-step drawing instructions, which you can follow along with or use as inspiration for your own unique vision! Either way, get ready to flex those creative muscles and learn to draw while you're at it!

$5 MEMBERS | $10 PUBLIC
LOCATION
In-person classes will take place in the Studio at Rockford Art Museum. In-person classes have a minimum capacity of 4 students to run and won't exceed 8 students.
Virtual classes will be held via Zoom, and the Zoom link will be emailed 2 days prior (Thursdays) and the day of the program (Saturday morning/afternoon).
MOVIE CHARACTERS!
IN PERSON: SAT, FEB 20 | 11 AM–12:30 PM (Movie Characters will be presented virtually only for this Cartoon Club)
VIRTUAL: SAT, FEB 20 | 2–3 PM
What's your favorite movie character? We'll have plenty to choose from in this special Cartoon Club! We'll draw the good, the evil, and the cute! (Suggestions for characters will be taken in the previous Cartoon Club, Anime Faces!)
ALIENS!
IN PERSON: SAT, MAR 13 | 11 AM–12:30 PM
VIRTUAL: SAT, MAR 13 | 2–3 PM
Is your alien a friendly face, or a menace to the human race? We’ll vote on which spooky, sensitive, or just plain weird aliens we want to draw! Aww, we might even draw a baby alien!
MYSTERIOUS SEA CREATURES!
IN PERSON: SAT, MAR 27 | 11 AM–12:30 PM
VIRTUAL: SAT, MAR 27 | 2–3 PM
Do you know how many mysterious sea creatures there are out there? ...A LOT! So let’s draw em’! With names like “vampire squid”, “dumbo octopus”, and “warty frogfish”, we’ll have plenty of interesting creatures to depict!
