Rockford Art Museum is in full bloom during new three-day event Art in Bloom (Tuesday, June 28–Thursday, June 30), as works of art from the RAM Collection are creatively interpreted through floral design. Experience imaginative installations by talented local floral designers, as well as unique floral demonstrations, workshops and programs throughout the event.
Admission is free with regular museum admission, except for the ticketed Art in Bloom Preview Party (June 27, 6–8 p.m., $35) and related programming. Art in Bloom is presented by Rockford Art Museum in partnership with Anderson Japanese Gardens, Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden, and Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens, a facility of Rockford Park District; and supported in part by Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. The event is chaired by David Boccignone.
