Prints by local artist Kari McDonald of Lemuette will be on view Friday, January 22 through Saturday, March 26 in the RAM Art Annex. Known for her signature woodblock prints, this display features her original woodblock prints along with their hand-carved woodblock counterparts. “This is a unique opportunity “to see and buy the woodblocks carefully carved for the limited edition of my woodblock prints,” McDonald said. A special event with the artist will be held Jan. 22, 5–9 p.m., in the RAM Art Annex. The reception offers “a few special surprises, treats, tools on site, and video of the process,” she said.

Although Rockford Art Museum and the RAM Store are open daily from 10 am. to 5 p.m., accessible hours to the RAM Art Annex vary according to the museum’s current class schedule. Learn more at http://rockfordartmuseum.org/education
